Yummy Cabbage Salad
1 small head of cabbage
4 green onions
2 tbsp minced cilantro
2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 c almonds, sliced and toasted
Dressing:
1/2 c seasoned rice vinegar
1/2 c water
1 tbp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp tamari
1 tsp sweetener such as maple syrop
Directions:
Combine cabbbage, onions and cilantro in a bowl. Toast the sesame seeds and almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until slightly browned. Blend all the dressing ingredients together. Pour over the cabbage mixture and stir. Add the seeds and nuts last so they remain crunchy!
