Shelley Hawn
Founder, President
Shelley Hawn is the founder, president and owner of the Whole Foods Market in Penticton, B.C. Way back in the spring of 1981, Shelley opened her first business in Summerland B.C. The Summerland Whole Food Emporium was housed in a tiny space just off Main Street and for nearly two years, Shelley developed and honed her business and customer service skills by establishing the first natural food store in that town.

Richard has been involved in the natural and organic products industry for his entire business career. Starting with a very small dried fruit operation in Naramata, B.C., Richard went on to open Canada's first fruit leather factory in Penticton in 1978. From there, Richard started and operated one of Canada's leading distributors of natural and organic products from 1981 until he sold his interest in 1999. He joined the Whole Foods Market as the General Manager in July of 1999.

Manager, Whole Health Department
Sarah Love joined Whole Foods Market in July 2006. Sarah is a Chartered Herbalist with over 10 years of experience in the natural health industry. Sarah's training includes Aromatherapy and Homeopathy, and she is a Certified Massage Therapist. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family - her partner Jeremy and their son Lucas.
Jacqueline
Café Supervisor
Jacqueline has 4 years of experience in the deli of a major grocery store in Penticton. In addition, she has had 16 years of experience working in the deli and bakery industry on Vancouver Island. Jacqueline enjoys art and traveling, and is a welcome addition to the Main Squeeze Juice Bar!
Bente

Cashier
Originally from Kaslo, BC, Bente has been living in Penticton and working as head cashier at Whole Foods Market for 13 years now. Her main interests are her family, friends, and traveling. She enjoys reading and studying about the many products that are available in our store and hopes to be a help in directing customers to products that may be helpful to them.
Juan
Grocery Manager
Juan joined the staff at the Whole Foods Market in the winter of 2001. He brings with him five years experience in the grocery business and customer service trade. Juan is the proud father of two sons and has lived in Penticton all of his life. Juan was promoted to Grocery Manager in September 2004. He is responsible for placing grocery orders and is happy to special order items that we don't carry.
Sandy
Assistant Grocery Manager
Originally from England, Sandy and her husband moved to Canada in 1966. Sandy can be found helping customers in many parts of the store- in the juice bar, at the checkout and in the grocery aisles. In September 2004, Sandy was promoted to Assistant Grocery Manager. Sandy is a bundle of bright and happy energy - she is a positive force at Whole Foods Market.
